If you're a sports fan, you've come to the right town. Columbus Ohio is well known for its sports teams and clubs. Columbus is home to The Ohio State Buckeyes, who compete in more than 30 sports.
Columbus is also home to one of Major League Soccer's first teams, the Columbus Crew. Hockey fans flood Nationwide Arena every season to watch the Columbus Blue Jackets, an NHL expansion team that began in 2000. The Columbus Destroyers were the Arena Football League national conference champions in 2007, and beginning in 2009, the Columbus Clippers will be going to bat in Huntington Park.

Columbus Crew (MLS)
One of the first Major League Soccer teams in the country, The Crew play in the very first American stadium built specifically for soccer, Crew Stadium.
Columbus Clippers (AAA)
The Clippers are the AAA affiliates of the National League Washington Nationals. Currently at Cooper Stadium, they begin playing at Huntington Park in 2009.
Columbus Destroyers (AFL)
Formerly of Buffalo, the Arena Football League's Destroyers now call Nationwide Arena in Columbus their home.
